World Communion Sunday is this week. We join together with all other Christian traditions to take communion together. WPC practices Open Communion meaning, anyone who professes to be a Christian is welcome to come and join us.
It is not coincidence that we host our Church Family Potluck on the first Sunday of the month. We do that intentionally because some people don’t feel worthy, accepted, or able to take communion. We don’t want to leave anyone out, so we share a meal like Jesus did with his disciples. Our community matters to us no matter where you come from.
